Beth and Aaron had a bit of a "destination" wedding here in Connecticut since they are now living in Florida, but grew up together here. What a great, relaxed, and fun couple they were on their wedding day! We were introduced by a mutual friend who put Beth in touch with me to photograph their wedding. From the first phone chat, we hit it off. We finally all got to meet each other the week before their wedding for a planning session over a couple of drinks at Down The Hatch. That's where it got fun and interesting; Aaron surprised Beth with the best wedding gift ever once our meeting adjourned. A 1966 Lyman Cruisette, vintage wooden boat with her name, "Elizabeth" on the stern. Amazing.
Their wedding was awesome and the weather was wild and I love it that way, overcast skies always make for excellent lighting conditions. Also, how many brides would dare get into a boat, in their wedding dress in the rain, and go out on the lake for photos? Beth is a trooper and understood that this adventure would yield amazing wedding images. I'm so happy she did and I'm sure she is too. Check out some select images from Beth and Aaron's wedding Day!
